Suzie
I was baking my tray bake and I was very excited. When I was in bed I started to get dreams about pack holiday.
Mrs Angel is my favourite leader next to Mrs Claus.
We were on waitress duty. I made a sandwich and it was fun.
We had a great time doing all the arts & crafts. I don't wanna leave!
The best thing - sleeping in a bedroom with all my friends. We had a fun 2 nights.

Chloe
I felt happy but I felt sad but I was a brave girl.
We played a game and we got dressed then we got our breakfast then we made a song then we made pop up cards.

Lucy C
I felt so nervous I couldn't get to sleep.
I was so excited I screamed when I got there and I ran as fast as I could to the door with my suitcase.
Holly Berries is my group and we get on fine in fact excellent.
I've had so much fun at pack holiday. Today we went a walk which was called the 12 days of Christmas. We also had a lovely Christmas dinner.
This was the best pack holiday ever. We had loads of tray bake and yummy supper. I loved sharing a dorm with my pals.
The best thing - definitely the TRAY BAKE YUM YUM!

Georgie
I was very excited.
I was a bit scared.
Mrs Claus is my favourite. I aspechlay like her earrings.
It was really fun and icsiting but I miss my mum and dad.
The best thing - doing all of the activities.

On the night before I felt really excited and really happy.
I was very happy but I was scared. I just got on with it.
I was very sad because I was leaving.

I felt I was going to explode in to a hundred peeses when I was baking my tray bake. I was excited.

I was feeling excited a lot and I was feeling really really happy.

Holly Olivia
Last night I felt very very excited and happy. I wasn't nervous, sad or shy.
I will have a FAB TIME.
We get on very well (as we do at brownies) there are a few guides that we haven't met and they all have lovely Christmas names.
Next time I would like to go for LONGER!
At my first pack holiday I have got a taste of what it is like to go on pack holiday. I felt really excited because I have never been before and I am definitely coming next year!
The best thing - getting to know more about my friends.

Maisie
I felt really excited and really happy because its my first time going on a sleepover at camp. I couldn't get to sleep and I had butterflies in my stomach. I kept jumping up and down with happieness. I did feel a little bit nervous and a bit anxious.
It was really fun because I got to stay up really late and I am really sad to go home.
I would like to come again.
We all like our leaders and we all think they are great.
The best thing - was doing the treasure hunt and sleeping on bunks.

Megan C
I was so excited last night I couldn't get to sleep. I felt really elated. I really wanted to shout out I am going to Pack Holiday.
I felt really really excited and the house looked fab. I am really enjoying my self and I am glad I joined the brownies.
I really feel excited but because I have been running about I am a tiny winy bit tired.
I get on really well with the leaders and I really really like having a pack holiday here.
I have loved being here and love all the Christmassy names. I think the guiders and the guides are cool and I would love to come back to the brownie pack holiday again - it was great!

Abigail
I felt really really excited. I also baked cakes and it was a great feeling that I was coming on pack holiday for the first time.
I felt the best ever and was shouting and screaming. I was so excited and wanted to see my room straight away.
Mrs Angel, Mrs Claus, Mrs Mistletoe, Mrs Tinsel are the best leaders ever. They are great fun.
Today we got to make lunch and it was great fun.
It was amazing that I was on pack holiday. I had a great time. I got hardly any sleep on Friday night but on Saturday night I had a great sleep.
The best thing - was everything but the thing I liked the most was watching TV and making things.

Holly Louise
Very excited. Could not get to sleep. All fidgety and v excited.
Over the moon excited, thrilled, just very excited, very very excited.
We cleaned the toilet (gross). We tidied our room, it was quite fun. We went outside it was great fun. We ate a snack it was very tasty. We had a midnight feast and watched ELF.
I thought it was great.
The best thing - was sleeping with the guides and doing crafts.

I felt scared but happy.
Happy but sad.

Happy, excited and a little bit nervy.
Mrs Angel is so good I love her.
I felt happy when I got there and it was so good I want to come back here.
The best thing - I like the food. Thank you so much.

I couldn't get to sleep and was very excited.
Really excited and very happy and I knew everyone there.
We get on very well and laugh at each others jokes.
I've had so much fun.

I felt excited but a bit scared but when I arrived I just wanted to get on with it.
The Best thing - bed time was the best part.

I felt really excited because I was jumping up and down and could not stop talking about it.
I was really happy because I thought we would never make it. I thought we would get lost and could not go?
We get on really well and we are kind to each other.
We had to clean the sink and the toilet and shower. It looked bad but it was fun.
It is the best holiday I have ever been to. I liked going to the Pack Holiday for three days.
The best thing - was walking down to the woods and watching TV. I had a great time.

Sophie C
I felt happy I could not sleep.
I felt very happy. I love it now I was a little bit nervous.
We get along very good. We are all friends. We like each other.

 

Badges we completed!

All the girls completed their Home Skills badge.

Three of the girls (Lucy C, Holly Louise and Megan) completed their Advanced Pack Holiday badge and the others their Pack Holiday badge.

All the girls also received our unique "I've been on pack holiday with 1st Carluke Brownies" badge.

 

Everyone in 1st Carluke Brownies would like to say a big thank you to the Guiders from the Tuesday night Brownies and Monday Night Guides for all their help and also the three Guides from Monday night Guides who came along for the weekend.
